This body scrubbing mitt is handmade using ancestral techniques from a type of agave plant fiber by a co-op of indigenous Otomi artisans in Mexico.
The Otomi people have been using the bountiful and sustainable, native Maguey agave plants and fibers for generations. Weaved scrubbing cloths like this mitt are called "ayate" cloths.
Unlike other agave based fibers like sisal, ayate is naturally mildew resistant. This fiberView product's hydrophilic nature brings moisture into the skin and exceptional skin softening qualities while exfoliating at the same time.
Great for full body exfoliation and softening.
***Packaged in new new, fully compostable corn based "un-plastic" bags.***
Directions- In the shower after washing your body, fully wet the mitt. Using small circles, begin scrubbing working from the bottom of your legs up, focusing on dry, rough skin and areas prone to ingrown hairs. Enjoy the smoothness after.
